Allen Released by UNC

February signee Josh Allen will not enroll at North Carolina.

Allen, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound offensive guard from Jacksonville (Fla.) University Christian School, is still waiting to hear from the NCAA Clearinghouse regarding his qualifying status. Regardless, UNC’s admissions won’t clear him, according to Inside Carolina sources.

Allen has been released from his UNC Letter of Intent and is free to pursue a different college. If qualified, sources confirm he plans to enroll at Arkansas in the spring semester.
