Searcy Ready to Play Safety at UNC

		By Greg Barnes Inside Carolina Date: Feb 7, 2007 Da’Norris Searcy, a 6-foot 203-pound athlete from Decatur (Ga.) Towers High School, fulfilled a lifelong goal this morning as he faxed his letter of intent to North Carolina to play for Butch Davis’ Tar Heels. The safety prospect was never bothered by the constant media attention surrounding his recruitment, as it served as a reminder for his dedication.
