Listen to Audio (5:58)

Surry Wood:
“I just want to thank, first off, my family for coming to about every game that they could, since [home is] just right down the road in Raleigh. Mom and Dad, Phil and Ed, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

“Next, I want to thank the coaches. Coach Williams, Coach Rob, Coach Haase, Coach Holladay, even you C.B. I appreciate it. You came out with a positive attitude every day…

“Next, I want to thank all of the fans. Especially want to thank the ones that left before the Clemson game ended. I assume they left tonight, so let’s give them a round of applause.”

Quentin Thomas:
“First off, I want to thank God, because without Him, none of this would be possible. Secondly, I want to thank my family – all 100 of you that came from Oakland…

“When I made my decision about coming to college, it was hard for me. But after being here for four years, the one thing I can say is that I wouldn’t trade the fans that I have right here, and the fans that we have, for anything and everything in the world. I love you guys.

“Next, I want to thank the coaching staff. Coach Williams, I just want to thank you for the opportunity and for sticking with me.”
