| NCAA rule changes announced

The NCAA Rules Committees decided on a few changes at their annual meeting. * Fouls committed on offense while the other team is in the bonus will not yield foul shots. * The two spaces at the foul line closest to the shooter will be unoccupied. * The experimental rules this season include widening the free throw lane by 2 feet on each side and moving the three-point line back 8 inches.
