Minnesota visits Boone

According to an article today by Jeff Shelman of the Star Tribune, Minnesota head coach Dan Monson will be in Chapel Hill today to meet with Adam Boone.

"They can't fly [Boone] up here because of the sanctions, so he's going down there and they're going to talk," [Minnetonka head coach and AD] John Hedstrom said.

In addition to the Gophers, Hedstrom said he has faxed copies of Boone's official release from North Carolina to Michigan and Nevada-Las Vegas. New Saint Louis coach Brad Soderberg left Hedstrom a message, presumably to inquire about Boone.
