| Felton Named ACC Player Of The Week

North Carolina is alone atop the ACC standings heading into the final week of conference play, but surprisingly it wasn't until now that the Tar Heels received their first ACC Player of the Week honor. North Carolina point guard Raymond Felton averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds as the second-ranked Tar Heels posted ACC road wins at NC State and Maryland. The Latta, S.C., product led all scorers with 21 points and had seven assists and five rebounds in a 81-71 win at NC State Tuesday night. The 6-1, 198-pound junior turned in his fifth "double-double" of the year, and tenth for his career, with a 10-point and 10-assist effort in Sunday's 85-83 win at Maryland.
