North Carolina has accepted a bid to play in the 2009 Meineke Car Care Bowl, it was announced Sunday by bowl officials. The Tar Heels, representing the Atlantic Coast Conference, will face the No. 17-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers from the Big East Conference.
