The Badger Sports Elite 7-on-7 tryouts, powered by New Level Athletics, were held on Saturday night in Aston, Pa., and John Loughery was the most impressive signal caller on hand. He has camped at UNC, NC State and Rutgers and talked about other schools showing interest.

Penn Charter quarterback John Loughery wasn’t very well-known coming into Saturday’s tryouts, but the 6-foot-5, 215-pound gun slinger showed a strong, accurate arm in competition and might have been the most impressive player at the event. He spoke with Scout.com about Boston College, Rutgers, Connecticut, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Temple and Georgia who are all recruiting him.
