Inside Carolina tracks the performances of UNC's football recruits each weekend.

Highlights
  • Latwan Anderson: He intercepted four passes and returned them a total of 196 yards, including a 99-yard touchdown. "That was the best game of my life," Anderson told the Plain Dealer. "All week long everyone was telling me that I'm ranked as one of the best players in the country and that I had to play like it."-- Plain Dealer
  • K.J. Brent: He scored his team's lone touchdown with 3:06 remaining on a 17-yard reception. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Christian Bryant: He converted three extra points and completed a 25-yard field goal. -- Plain Dealer
  • Shon Carson: "Shon Carson was the workhorse with 31 carries for 273 yards to pace a Lake City attack that finished with 442 yards on the ground." He scored on touchdown runs of 4, 79, and 9 yards. -- The State
  • Eric Ebron: He caught a two-yard touchdown pass. -- News-Record
  • Brendon Felder: He has three receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns (83 and 38 yards). He also scored on a two-yard run. -- Pittsburgh Post Gazette
  • Sharrif Floyd: He deflected a pass that a teammate hauled in for an interception. "That kid is a manchild," Northeast coach Chris Riley said of Floyd. "He manhandled our guys." -- Philadelphia Inquirer
  • Everett Golson: "Scrambling to find an open receiver, Golson tucked the ball in and broke several tackles on the way to a 21-yard TD score." Passing, he completed 16-of-25 for 256 yards. -- The Sun News
  • Nigel King: He scored on a 35-yard touchdown reception. He had 74 yards in receiving. -- News & Observer
  • Marcus Lattimore: "On his first five carries, Lattimore gained 114 yards and scored twice." He finished the night with 126 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries. He also made four catches for 70 yards.  -- The Greenville News Spartanburg Herald-Journal
  • Vad Lee: He scored both of his team's touchdowns -- one- and a six-yard runs. He threw for 66 yards on 4-of-11 passing with an interception and rushed for 91 yards on 13 carries. "It was important that we scored twice before halftime to give us momentum for the rest of the game," Lee told the Herald-Sun. "Our defense played great again and didn't give anything except when we gave them field position." -- The Herald-Sun
  • Christian LeMay: He passed for 261 yards and five touchdowns (26, 48, 23, 15, and 35 yards). -- Charlotte Observer
  • Ty Linton: He scored on a 27-yard touchdown run. -- Charlotte Observer
  • T.J. Mutcherson: He returned the opening kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown. -- Tampa Tribune
  • Demetrius Nicholson: He caught two passes for 117 yards. -- The Virginia-Pilot
  • Christian Russell: "[Byrd] held technically visiting Westover to a net minus one yard rushing, and also throttled Wolverine running back Christian Russell, holding him to 27 yards." -- Fayetteville Observer
  • Brian Taylor: He ran 11 times for 142 yards with two touchdowns and completed 8-of-10 passes for 98 yards with a 15-yard score. -- Fayetteville Observer
  • Reggie Wilkins: He rushed for 73 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown. “We knew we came in 0-0 in the playoffs,” Wilkins told the Star. “This win means a lot since we came in as an underdog. We proved everyone wrong by really being on the same page. That was the best we’ve played all year.”-- The Star
  • Marquise Williams: He ran for two scores (1 and 22 yards) and threw a 27-yard touchdown pass. He accumulated 102 yards on 14 rushes. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Justin Worley: He three for seven touchdowns (47, 41, 53, 8, 19, 57, and 3 yards) and 376 yards on 19-of-31 passing. “On film,(South Florence) did some unconventional things on defense,” Worley to the Rock Hill Herald. “We knew we could exploit them.” He also rushed for 45 yards on 3 carries. -- Rock Hill Herald
