Highlights
  • Stephone Anthony: He scored on a one-yard touchdown run. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Shon Carson: On just six carries, he rushed for 136 yards and touchdown runs of 65 and 20 yards. -- The Sun News
  • Ray Ray Davis: He made two catches for 39 yards. -- Hutchinson's press release
  • Brandon Felder: He returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown. -- Pittsburgh Post Gazette
  • Everett Golson: He completed 4-of-8 passing for 90 yards and two touchdowns. -- The Sun News
  • Marcus Lattimore: "Lattimore took a direct snap and converted a fourth-and-1 with 1:55 remaining in the game to seal a 17-10 victory over the Cavaliers at Nixon Field." He finished with 158 yards and two touchdowns (1 and 3 yards) on 33 carries. -- Spartanburg Herald-Journal The Greenville News
  • Corvin Lamb: "Senior running back Corvin Lamb carried the ball only four times, but compiled 138 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns." -- Miami Herald
  • Vad Lee: "The Hornets put together a grinding 47-yard drive to go up by a pair of touchdowns when quarterback Vad Lee scrambled for 15 yards and broke several tackles along the way." He also scored on a 12-yard pass to Mike Brown. He ended the night with 209 yards on 8-of-12 passing with no interceptions. -- The Herald-Sun
  • Chris LeMay: He threw for 182 yards and one touchdown, and rushed for 48 yards. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Ed Reynolds: He rushed for 187 yards and a two-yard touchdown on 37 carries. -- Richmond Times-Dispatch
  • Brian Riggins: He rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown and had another 77 yards and a score receiving. -- The Sun News
  • Christian Russell: "In an evening plagued by turnovers and penalties, Russell accounted for 384 yards rushing and four touchdowns, leading Westover to a 35-20 win over the Jaguars. He had all but four of the Wolverines' 388 total yards," -- Fayetteville Observer
  • Alex Smith: "Senior Alex Smith had four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown for the Firebirds, who remain undefeated in the GMC." -- Cincinnati Enquirer
  • Brian Taylor: "Brian Taylor threw two touchdown passes, kicked a field goal and booted five extra points for the undefeated Trojans." He completed 13-of-17 passes for 244 yards. -- Fayetteville Observer
  • Reggie Wilkins: "Reggie Wilkins led Crest’s balanced offense with 76 yards rushing and 40 yards passing." -- The Shelby Star
  • Marquise Williams: "Junior quarterback Marquise Williams rushed for three touchdowns and passed for another in the Mavericks' eighth straight victory." He scored on runs of three, seven, and 13 yards, and a pass of seven yards. He rushed for a total of 97 yards on 12 carries. -- Charlotte Observer
  • Justin Worley: He completed 23-of-36 passes for 305 yards, an interception, and two touchdowns (33 and 15 yards). He also rushed eight times for 21 yards and a 9-yard score. -- Rock Hill Herald
