Felder Commits

According to sources close to the situation, Brendon Felder verbally committed to North Carolina before concluding his official visit to Chapel Hill on Sunday morning.

Felder, 5-foot-10, 162-pound athlete from Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway, chose UNC over finalists Pittsburgh, Boston College and Illinois.

John Shoop recruited Felder for UNC as a slot receiver.

Felder starts at wide receiver and safety for Gateway. As a junior, he accumulated over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 15 all-purpose touchdowns on offense.

He recorded a 4.37 40-yard dash at the 2009 Scout.com Baltimore Combine.
