Following North Carolina's "Beast of the Hill" Seven-on-Seven Passing Tournament on Friday, T.J. Thorpe spoke with several UNC coaches, including Butch Davis, and the 2011 prospect was verbally offered a scholarship.

"They were just talking to me about how my grades were," Thorpe said. "And they were telling me how I played well throughout camp and I was making plays on both sides of the ball, and they just enjoyed watching me play.
