CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- North Carolina freshman wide receiver Joshua Adams had his knee scoped on Tuesday by Dr. Alex Creighton at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, according to a UNC official.

Adams is expected to make a full recovery in 4-6 weeks.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver, who enrolled at UNC this past January, is expected to compete for a spot on the two-deep this fall.

According to sources close to the situation, Adams suffered a meniscus tear in his knee.
