Williams, Scott Out For Iona Game

NEW YORK – The North Carolina Tar Heels will be missing two of its top six players tonight when it takes the court against Iona College in the first round of the 50th annual Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden.

According to UNC Associate Sports Information Director Steve Kirschner, Scott was suspended for violating a team rule and Williams has a stomach virus. Scott is expected to play on Saturday in either the consolation or title game and Williams is listed as day to day.
