Three Dismissed from Team

Anthony Parker-Boyd, Kenneth Harris, and walk-on Mark House have been dismissed from the team for violating team rules, a UNC official confirmed to Inside Carolina on Wednesday.

Throughout his UNC career, Parker-Boyd, a junior from Malvern, Pa., had practiced at running back, wide receiver, and defensive back. He played in three games last fall recording one carry for a two-yard gain while lining up at quarterback against Virginia. He was limited to special teams during his red-shirt freshman season.

Harris, a native of Decatur, Ga., is a freshman that red-shirted the 2008 season.

House, a junior from Wilmington, N.C., was the deep snapper for the first half of the 2008 season, until injuring his hand.
