UNC-McNeese State Game Sold Out

Posted Aug 25, 2008

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The football season opener between North Carolina and McNeese State is now sold out, the UNC Department of Athletics announced Monday.

The Tar Heels and Cowboys will kick off the 2008 campaign Saturday at 6 p.m. at Kenan Stadium. The game will not be televised but an audio broadcast will air via the Tar Heel Sports Network.

With Saturday's sellout, Carolina has already sold out four of its seven home games. Single-game tickets for Connecticut, Boston College and Georgia Tech still remain and can be purchased online at TarHeelBlue.com.

UNC also sold out all 36,250 of its season ticket packages.
