Bond Furthers Relationship with Pittman

Most of the prospects that attended North Carolina's One-Day Camp over the weekend participated with the intentions of earning a UNC scholarship offer. Not Travis Bond. The 6-foot-7, 323-pound offensive tackle from Windsor (N.C.) Bertie County has possessed a Tar Heel offer since the spring.

"I just like to learn stuff [about playing offensive line]," Bond said. "I participated to show that I'm a hard worker." Bond, who arrived on campus Friday afternoon with the rest of the campers, worked out exclusively under the guidance of Sam Pittman, UNC's offensive line coach. He says the experience "was great."
