"It was a great weekend for us at the ACC Tournament; a great way to to go
into the NCAA Tournament," Roy Williams said Sunday evening after the Tournament field was announced. "Our players were rewarded for their success with a
number one seed. Our plan now is to get some rest over the next few days,
hopefully recuperate from a tough three-day tournament and get over some
nagging injuries. I know we will all be excited to start NCAA Tournament
play at the end of the week."
In the second round, UNC would face the winner of Indiana vs. Arkansas.
