The North Carolina men's basketball has won or shared three of the last four regular-season championships in the Atlantic Coast Conference after snatching the 76-68 victory Saturday night against Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The 29 victories are the most in school history entering postseason tournaments.

North Carolina coach Roy Williams says he has mixed emotions about the ACC tournament. Williams was raised in Asheville and understands the pageantry of the ACC tournament, which begins with first-round games Thursday at Bobcats Arena. He also has NCAA title dreams for the top-ranked Tar Heels that could be hindered by playing three ACC tournament games in three days.

North Carolina's ploy of switching on all screens in Saturday's win over Duke worked wonders for the Tar Heels, helping them hold the Blue Devils scoreless in the final 5:42 of the game.
