KERNERSVILLE, N.C. --- Since the conclusion of his junior football season, David Collins has put in extra time in the weight room. This work ethic was evident when he showed up at the U.S. Army Junior Combine over 20 pounds lighter than his 2007 playing weight and then proceeded to earn All-Combine honors from Scout.com.

"By losing the weight, that's made his feet better," East Forsyth head football coach Todd Willard said. "That's really what's going to bump him up next year to be among the better offensive linemen around the country."
