Harris Commits to UNC

Kenneth Harris verbally committed to North Carolina before the conclusion of his UNC official visit, his father informed Inside Carolina on Sunday morning.

Harris, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete from Decatur (Ga.) Columbia, has played safety for much of his high school career, but could play tight end, defensive end, or linebacker at the next level.

As a senior, Harris started at middle linebacker, but was moved back to safety a few games into the season. He ended the season with 62 tackles and two interceptions. He also started at tight end, where he caught four touchdown passes.
