Report: McAdoo Chooses UNC

According to The Tennessean, Michael McAdoo has verbally committed to North Carolina. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound defensive end from Antioch (Tenn.) will sign with UNC next week.

"I just felt more comfortable with their coaches and a couple of their players," McAdoo told the newspaper. "I grew up playing with (Mason and Gupton), and they had a lot of impact on me.

"When I visited there, what made it feel like home was when I met a couple of people and later in the week they were texting me, asking me how I liked my visit. When I met people at Kentucky, it wasn't like that."
