"I just felt more comfortable with their coaches and a couple of their players," McAdoo told the newspaper. "I grew up playing with (Mason and Gupton),
and they had a lot of impact on me.
"When I visited there, what made it feel like home was when I met a couple of people and later in the week they were texting me, asking me how I liked my visit. When I met people at Kentucky, it wasn't like that."
