ROEBUCK, S.C. --- After unexpectedly dropping two of its first four games, a Kevin Reddick-led New Bern (N.C.) squad went on a 12-game winning streak on its way to claiming the NCHSAA 4AA State Title.

Reddick, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker, hopes to extend his personal winning streak Saturday in the 71st Annual Shrine Bowl. "I've already ended my senior [football] season," Reddick said.
