CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- In a game that saw the defenses yield a total of 1,130 yards and 98 points, A.J. Blue's North Gaston Wildcats simply couldn't keep up with an efficient Western Alamance Warriors offense and fell 62-36 in the 2007 3A State Championship game.

Blue accounted for 192 yards and one touchdown on the ground and 79 yards through the air on 7-20 passing on the way to the 3A Western Division Offensive Player of the game.
