North Carolina and N.C. State experienced distinctly different finishes to the 2007 season on Saturday, but both left the field with positive outlooks for the future. The Tar Heels used a 25-yard touchdown run by freshman tailback Greg Little in overtime to close out the year with a dramatic 20-14 triumph over rival Duke. The win left UNC with a 4-8 overall record and a 3-5 Atlantic Coast Conference finish in Butch Davis’ first year as head coach.
