*** School records set on Saturday: Darian Durant’s 417 passing yards; 5 TD passes ties the school record with Kevin Anthony, who accomplished it in 1985; Chesley Borders’ four TD receptions; 657 yards allowed is most ever;.
***The 35 points scored by ASU was the second most ever by a UNC opponent in game Carolina won. UNC beat Duke 41-40 in 1994.
***ASU QB Andrew Walter’s 474 yards passing was the fourth highest single-game total in Sun Devils’ history.
***ASU kicker Mike Barth entered the game 7-7 on kicks inside of 50 yards. Tonight he was 0-4, missing from 27, 36, 36 and 49 yards.
***In its four-game winning streak prior to tonight’s game, was averaging 47 points per game.
***Entering the game, ASU had scored 137 points in QB Andrew Walter’s last eight quarters of action.
***All-time series between the schools is even at 1-1. ASU beat UNC, 48-26, in the 1970 Peach Bowl. ASU will play at UNC next fall.

***Aiken’s five receptions gives him 102 for his career, which is 11th in school history. Next in line: Art Weiner (106).
***Darian Durant's 417 passing yards gives him 3,211 for his career, good for 9th all-time in school history. Next on the list: Scott Stankavage (3,363), Kevin Anthony (3,412), and Mark Maye (3,459).
***Durant's 25 completions gives him 234 for his career, good for 10th on UNC's all-time list. Next in line: Oscar Davenport (251).
***Durant's five gives him 27 for his career, which puts him tied for 6th in Carolina history with Mike Thomas. Next in line: Ronald Curry (28), Scott Sankavage (30), Matt Kupec (33), Chris Keldorf (35).
***Of the six BCS conferences, the ACC has the best overall record against non-league schools from other BCS conferences. The ACC is 8-3, the Big Ten is 7-5, Big XII 9-8, Pac-10 7-7, SEC 5-8, and Big East 4-8. The ACC also has five road wins against BCS schools.
***ACC special teams and defenses have scored 16 touchdowns led by N.C. State with 7. Virginia is next with 3, followed by FSU 3, Maryland 2, Clemson 1, Duke 1, Wake Forest 1, Georgia Tech 0, UNC 0. The single-season ACC record is 11, set by Georgia Tech in 1998.
