HOPE MILLS, N.C. --- After accumulating 1,560 yards as a sophomore, Marquan Brown headed into his junior season with the simple intention of bettering those numbers.

"Everything went well [during my junior season]," said Brown. "We rushed a lot this year. I finished out the season with 1,600 yards. That was better than last year; my goal was to do better than the year before."
