TY LAWSON
Listen to Audio (2:16)
On his success so far -
Everybody is hitting their shots, and that is helping me out basically. I’m just penetrating and kicking it out; that’s probably why my assists are going up now.
On getting the ball inside to Brandan Wright and Tyler Hansbrough -
If they get close on the block, nobody is going to stop them. Brandan is so long and he can just shoot over top of them, and Tyler is going to get position to score.
Do you feel like you’re under control?
Most of the time, I feel like I’m under control. I know exactly where I want to go on the court to find people open.
MARCUS GINYARD
Listen to Audio (1:43)
On appreciating Wayne Ellington’s shooting -
I told Wayne I felt bad when I came in for him because he had just hit a three. It’s fun to watch him.
On what Bobby Frasor brings to the point guard position -
It’s just his experience. He can really steady the offense and set a good example out there on the court.
On UNC’s improved defense -
I think it’s just awareness. Everybody is just trying to be aware out there on defense. They’re getting into the position they need to be in and just talking a little bit better. We’ve really been aggressive.
REYSHAWN TERRY
Listen to Audio (2:38)
On Lawson’s game management -
He’s running the game extremely well. He’s a whole lot smarter, and he’s learning more and more about how to run the basketball team.
Do you think the team is becoming more consistent?
Definitely. We’re playing together, and we’re taking advantage of the talent that we have. I definitely think we’re playing more consistent.
TYLER HANSBROUGH
Listen to Audio (2:07)
I don’t usually talk trash or anything like that. I just try to play my game.
We do have a good low inside presence. It’s a good combination we have. We really look for each other a lot.
