"So many factors [are involved]," said Little on Wednesday afternoon when asked why he'd decide this week, instead of in January as previously planned. "I got the feeling [that I knew where I want to be]."
Little, a 6-foot-4 210-pound athlete, previously held a press conference to announce his decision in early October. However, he instead announced North Carolina and Notre Dame as his finalists.
Little confirmed Wednesday afternoon that his selection will be made between the Tar Heels and Fighting Irish.
This past weekend, Little was in South Bend to witness the contest between his two finalists.
For Hillside, Little has played every skill position accumulating 1,401 all-purpose yards and 19 all-purpose touchdowns, while leading the Hornets to 9-2 record.
Little will be among the 80 national selections for the US Army All-American Bowl, which will be held Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This classic East vs. West match-up will be televised live on NBC at 1:00 (EST). Scout.com is the official selection partner for the game.
