Sexton Co-ACC Rookie of the Week

The ACC announced Monday that North Carolina quarterback Cam Sexton and Virginia Tech defensive end William Wall have been named Co-ACC Rookie of the Week.

Sexton, a 6-1, 185-pound redshirt freshman from Laurinburg, N.C., made his first career start Saturday and completed 14-of-20 attempts for 265 yards and two touchdowns as the Tar Heels defeated Furman, 45-42.

Sexton averaged 18.9 yards per completion and was never sacked. Recommended Stories
