DT Commits to UNC

William Brimfield was so impressive at North Carolina's one-day camp this weekend that, as soon as camp ended, he received a scholarship offer from the Tar Heel staff. Before leaving Chapel Hill, Brimfield in turn committed to UNC, according to sources close to the situation.

Brimfield, a 6-foot-5 290-pound defensive tackle from Neeses (S.C.) Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, displayed surprising mobility for his size at the Carolina camp.

He is the seventh member of North Carolina’s 2007 commitment list.
