Recruit to watch: LB Drean Rucker

Drean Rucker

One of the top middle linebackers on the recruiting wish list is Drean Rucker (6-2, 230) of Canyon Springs HS in Moreno Valley.

"Right now my top 4 schools are USC, Oregon, Oregon State and Oklahoma. All have offered and I'm definitely going to take my trips before making a final decision. I'll be going to the USC 4-day camp next week.

Coach Holt is recruiting me for USC and they want me as a middle linebacker. I like USC because it's close to home, they have a lot of seniors at linebacker and there is a good atmosphere right now.

My strengths as a player are my speed (4.6 40) and my strength (power clean 325, bench 365 and squat 525). I'm pretty agile for a linebacker, I used to play defensive end but I like linebacker better because you can see the field better." Recommended Stories
