"They can't fly [Boone] up here because of the sanctions, so he's going down there and they're going to talk," [Minnetonka head coach and AD] John Hedstrom said.
In addition to the Gophers, Hedstrom said he has faxed copies of Boone's official release from North Carolina to Michigan and Nevada-Las Vegas. New Saint Louis coach Brad Soderberg left Hedstrom a message, presumably to inquire about Boone.
