"I have family down there so I know how nice North Carolina is," Parker-Boyd said. "I know how serious they are about their football. The program's been on the up-and-up with Coach Bunting. My family are big Eagles' fans, and they know a lot about Bunting. I know the winning-type attitude he has for the program, and that's the kind of player I am. I just want to go out and win. So I thought I thought that would be a nice fit."
Parker-Boyd chose UNC over interest from Boston College, Michigan State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
