Carolina Football

By a quirk of scheduling, UNC is the only team in the newly-expanded Atlantic Coast Conference that doesn't open the season until Sept. 10. Coach John Bunting said earlier this month it puts his squad at a disadvantage because the Yellow Jackets will be more battle-tested when the two teams meet in Atlanta. "I don't think it's fair," Bunting said. "But hey, that's the way it is."

Carolina Basketball

A current all-North Carolina NBA squad would include Brendan Haywood, Stackhouse, May, Felton, Rashad McCants, Marvin Williams, Jeff McInnis, George Lynch, Jamison, Wallace and Vince Carter. No fair reaching back into history and grabbing Michael Jordan or James Worthy.
