“Joe and I talked before he went home,” Bunting said. “He’s had a difficult time and we’re going to try and make the decision for him and his body.”
Kedra, out of Maple Shade, N.J., and a former high school teammate at Camden Catholic of one-time UNC quarterback Nick Cangelosi, moved to defensive end after injuring his knee last August. He was eligible to come back later in the year, but he had a redshirt available after playing as a true freshman.
In 2003, Kedra was used primarily on special teams, but he also got in on some snaps as a reserve linebacker.
A SuperPrep All-America as a high school senior, Kedra entered college as the No. 17 ranked linebacker in the country by ESPN.
