Report: Hanners, Ford, Sullivan Will Land NBA Jobs

Larry Brown is the new coach of the New York Knicks, but his assistant coaches from Detroit -- including three former Tar Heels -- won't be left behind.

According to sources, Brown is expected to hire Dave Hanners and Phil Ford, who worked under him in Detroit. Another one of Brown's assistants in Detroit, Pat Sullivan, is expected to join Lawrence Frank's coaching staff with the Nets.
