Info on Women's NCAAs in Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The University of North Carolina will host first and second round NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament action on Saturday and Monday at Carmichael Auditorium.

Play begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday with a matchup between fifth-seeded Minnesota (21-7) and 12th-seeded UNLV (23-7). At 7:30, fourth-seeded UNC (24-8) will play 13th-seeded Harvard (22-5).

The first-round winners will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. for a spot in the Midwest Region semifinal. The second-round game will be televised live by ESPN2.

Tickets to the games are $10 for adults and $6 for students (grade school, high school or college). Packages that include admission for both days are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling the UNC ticket office at (919) 962-2296 or (800) 722-4335.

Under NCAA security procedures, spectators will not be allowed to bring backpacks or large bags into Carmichael Auditorium. All small bags are subject to search.

UNC will offer a free Carmichael Auditorium shuttle from the Bell Tower lot, which is located off of South Road near Kenan Stadium.
