UNC women's signee Jessica Sell almost single-handedly powered her North Marion squad to the West Virginia Class AAA title game tonight as they defeated Huntington 54-53 Friday night in Charleston.

Her free throws with 3.3 seconds gave North Marion their only lead of the lead second half and the game's final margin of victory. Huntington had a final attempt but couldn't connect on a last ditch shot.
Sell had 22 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, five blocks and four steals.
North Marion started the fourth quarter down 14 points, 42-28. Sell scored thirteen of her 22 points in the fourth including a three-pointer with 22 seconds on the clock that tied the game at 52-52.
Huntington's Kashawna Curry went 1-2 from the line to break the tie, 53-52. North Marion had the ball and fifteen seconds to score - and of course, they put it in the hands of Sell.
“I’ve been waiting for a moment like this all my life,” said Sell in the press conference after the game. “This is what you plan for."
North Marion (22-4) will take on top-ranked defending champ Capital (26-0) at 7:15 p.m. today at the Charleston Civic Center. Capital defeated #2 ranked Nitro, 53-51.
The other women's signee Latangela Atkinson plays in the South Carolina Class AA state championships this afternoon - her game is right after UNC men's signee Raymond Felton's championship game.
IC is at the championships and will report back on Atkinson and Felton's title games.
