While Asheville teammate Johnny White sat out the day with a hamstring injury, Crezdon Butler was among the mountain boys that shined during Saturday’s Shrine Bowl Combine held in Asheville. Butler posted solid combine numbers, but really put on a show during one-on-one passing drills. The passing connection of Josh Johnson and Garrett Sutphen also impressed the crowd.

Combine's Top Five Performances

Josh Johnson, WR, Avery County, 6'1", 181 lbs.

With the help of quarterback Garrett Sutphen, Johnson dominated opposing defensive backs during one-on-one passing drills. He also answered speed questions by posting 40-yard dash times of 4.38 and 4.50 seconds on the Reynolds track. Additionally, Johnson ran the 20-yard shuttle in 4.41 seconds and did ten repetitions of 185 pounds.

Crezdon Butler, QB, Asheville, 5'11½", 172 lbs.

Josh Baker, LB, Asheville Roberson, 5'10½", 183 lbs.
