CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Iowa State coach Wayne Morgan, center Jared Homan and guard Curtis Stinson addressed the media following the game...

WAYNE MORGAN

Opening statement:
“I thought North Carolina played well today in the first half. I’m really proud of my kids for the way they fought through adversity and kept playing the whole 40 minutes. I think they’re offensive transitions hurt us. They have an excellent team.”

On Raymond Felton:
“Felton’s a big factor, because he’s a great point guard. Anytime you have a point guard like that, it’s extremely helpful.”

On Jared Homan:
“Jared was a warrior today. He had 19 points and 20 rebounds. He fights every second he’s on the court, and I think he has a big future playing this game.”

JARED HOMAN

On facing Sean May and Marvin Williams inside:
“I see good post players everyday in the Big 12, so it was just another day.”

On his personal performance:
“I think the main thing that contributed to that is going up against the big guys in the Big 12.”

On his future:
“I don’t know what the future holds – I’d love to keep playing basketball some way, somehow, but if not, I’ll get my degree and move on.”

CURTIS STINSON

On UNC:
“They’re just deep – that’s what makes them really good. We’ve seen better teams though. Of course it’s going to help them when they keep rotating these guys like that.”

On the future:
“We’ve got experience now. We just bounce back. We’re just proud we made it this far. It means a lot to the team. There are still a lot of people who don’t recognize Iowa State, but we’ll be back.”
