"We know they're a strong basketball team. They beat Arizona at home earlier this year by [18 points]. So we did some good things, but we just caught them on a bad night tonight.

"[Jawad Williams] has been on a hot streak all year, and we need that from him. He sure stepped up, the shots were going down for him and we just kept looking for him.

"I think [the first half] was the best half we've put together [this year], but I think we can still play better. We had some mistakes. Coach still jumps on us about some things we've done wrong, but overall, I think he was pretty satisfied with that first half and we just have to build on it."

"It wasn't necessarily easy, we just ran our offense and it worked 100 percent. We didn't turn the ball over, we got great shots, everybody was unselfish…we got great shots every time and we knocked them down.

"Virginia is a great team, but we are also a great team. We played hard tonight. We had a lot of rest this week and everybody got their bumps and bruises out of the way. We got a chance to rest our bones and rest our bodies. They just came off a game and they might have been tight in a sense."

LISTEN (1:48)

"It's very exciting if you think about it that in any given game, any of our guys can come out and play well. I think this was the kind of game where all of us were playing really well.

"We practice the way we want to play and that's how we want to play. We do everything like we do in practice, and that's why I'm not surprised.

"[Our bench players] did a good job coming off the bench and keeping our lead.

"I think we were due, because we really haven't had a good shooting game in the ACC. I'm just glad it was on the road in a place where we haven't won in a long time. "Coach made an emphasis on it before the game that we've lost here five games straight, but it has nothing to do with this team here today. We just took that and we rolled with it and came out with a big win."

LISTEN (1:32)

"We just shot the ball better and it bounced our way. They may have been tired and we had a week off…maybe there was something to that.

"A couple of guys mentioned [the losing streak at UVa]; I didn't think about it all.

"We took better shots, but I don't think this team or Coach Williams is going to be satisfied until we make them all."
