"Clemson runs a good motion offense and they bang you around in there. They got us in some defensive foul trouble. Scott and Boone combined had 40 points, 7 assists and only 1 turnover. Adam was more comfortable out there. He picked his spots and was able to find holes in the defense.
"Our defense was fairly effective. We caused some poor shooting, but some of it was Clemson missing open shots. We had to be smart today, there were too many errors in the N.C. State game.
"I was really impressed with Jason Capel's conditioning. He was at practice every day and was able to ride the bike some. I think that was his first test after the concussion. Sometimes a break in the middle of the season freshens a player up, especially for a guy with a bad hamstring.
"There's relief, joy, pride, a lot of emotions in that locker room. I am proud of this group of guys, a lot of other teams would have folded in this situation."
