Brown graded out at 93 percent, had eight knockdown blocks and led an
offensive line that blocked for 400 total yards in Carolina's fifth victory
of the season. Brown was also a major reason why quarterback Darian Durant
scored from three yards out in the third quarter. After Durant seemed to
stop at the three-yard line, Brown literally pushed Durant and several Demon
Deacon defenders the final three yards for the touchdown.
Brown has won the offensive line player of the week award twice in the last
three weeks. He also was honored after Carolina's wins over William & Mary
and No. 4 Miami.
Brown is a candidate for the Dave Rimington Award, which is given to the
nation's top center. He has already been selected to play in the Senior
Bowl in January.
