IC welcomes Suzuki of Durham and The Wine Cellar

Two great local businesses have joined the important group of sponsors that support InsideCarolina.com and the Inside Carolina Magazine. We'd like to welcome Suzuki of Durham and The Wine Cellar to the Inside Carolina community!

Suzuki of Durham is right down the road from UNC, located at the crossroads of I-40 and 15/501, one mile north of Chapel Hill. The dealership, which has deep-rooted ties to the area and is an avid follower of the local college sports scene, sees Inside Carolina as an ideal avenue for promoting its products. You can't miss the prominent ads in this month's magazine, as well as online.

"Mark Jacobson's Suzuki of Durham is excited at the opportunity to advertise with Inside Carolina," said President Mark Jacobson. "We're big fans of ACC sports and are committed to the Triangle community. We have the largest showroom in the US and the largest selection in the area. Our vehicles offer America's No. 1 warranty and we have two great new models that will be introduced this fall -- the Reno and the Forenza ChromaWagon."

You can reach the dealership by phone at 919-281-6920 and check them out online at www.suzukiofdurham.com.

Seth Moore, owner of The Wine Cellar, came aboard this summer and his sponsorship was responsible for enabling us to increase the Inside Carolina Magazine from 48 to 64 pages. His store has already become a staple of the area and he's looking to further make his Carolina Blue mark on Fayetteville Road in Durham.

"We're real excited to be working with Inside Carolina," said Moore, a UNC grad. "We gear our items to those who value quality and price, as we have everything from the inexpensive to high-end wines. We also try to make it more of a relaxed atmosphere, taking out the snobby stereotype and making it fun for everyone from novices to experienced wine drinkers."

The Wine Cellar holds free wine tastings on Fridays from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Moore can talk wine and Carolina sports with the best of them and his store is at Sutton Station on Fayetteville Road -- one mile north of Southpoint Mall. The phone number is 919-806-3111.

You can see these two sponsors teaming up with some of our advertisers like Johnny T-shirt, The Lochmere, The Neuse and The Preserve on August 28 starting at noon at Suzuki of Durham where Inside Carolina is presenting, along with Suzuki of Durham, a Pre-Tailgate Party to kick off the football season. The Wine Cellar will be providing complimentary bottles of wine, Johnny T-shirt is putting a pre-tailgate package together for the first 25 to test drive and Inside Carolina will give out complimentary golf packages for foursomes at the three golf courses throughout the day.

Inside Carolina will begin a raffle for a Dean Smith autographed basketball plus there will be a charity auction to raise money for Volunteers for Youth through Sports Memories' sports and entertainment memorabilia like Julius Peppers autographs, Michael Jordan jerseys, and much more!

Inside Carolina hopes you will be able to participate in this event and meet some of our sponsors perhaps before heading up to the 4:30 p.m. tip off of the World's Greatest Alumni Game at the Smith Center.

And the following day to complete your weekend, check out the Chapel Hill Wine Festival on Aug. 29 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the American Legion on Legion Road in Chapel Hill. We will continue selling raffle tickets for the autographed Dean Smith basketball at this event and you can learn a lot more great wine information from the folks at the Wine Cellar, so be sure to stop by their table. The event sends proceeds to the National MS Society. For information on tickets to this event, call 919-806-3111 or email degustibusinc@aol.com.

Any questions about the Aug 28 Pre-Tailgate Party or for info on how you can utilize Inside Carolina to promote your business, please contact audrey@insidecarolina.com.

Inside Carolina encourages you to look to our sponsors for the services and products they provide, as their dedication to Inside Carolina is what enables us to continue improving our publication.
