JamesOn Curry concludes his high school career as the state's all-time leading scorer, with 3,307 points. Other state records he now holds include: points in a season by a freshman, sophomore and junior; all-time scoring average; total number of 20-point, 30-point and 40-point games.
His senior season averages in 20 games were 40.2 pts, 6.7 assists, 6.6 rebounds and 4.4 steals.
Eastern Alamance's 76-66 win Friday night gave the school its first Mid-State Conference title in 11 years. The team is now 17-5 (undefeated in conference) with two games remaining.
