Football Signs Three


CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina's football program announced the signings of three four-star recruits on Friday that will enroll in January - quarterback Anthony Ratliff, tight end Carl Tucker and running back Ty'son Williams.

Anthony Ratliff is a 6-0, 191-pound dual threat quarterback from Matthews, N.C., where he attends Butler High School. In his first year as the starter in 2013, he helped lead the Bulldogs to an 11-win season and a spot in the 4-AA Western Regional final. He is ranked the No. 20 quarterback in the country by

Carl Tucker, a 6-2, 215-pound native of Cornelius, N.C., attends Hough High School. He is a versatile player who has seen playing time at wide receiver and tight end. Tucker is ranked the No. 15 tight end in the country by
