Pinckney Likes Gamecocks

Four-star defensive tackle Nyles Pinckney from Seabrook, S.C. attended South Carolina's camp last weekend and notes they may be a front-runner.

A class of 2016 stand-out at the camp, this DT is ranked 25th in his position and a Scout 255 overall.

The S.C.-native was the 'talk-of-the-town' this past weekend at the camp in Columbia. Working with coach Everette Sands, the 6-foot-2, 275 Pinckney received an offer this past spring from USC.

Although not quite ready to name a top five just yet, the Whale Branch EC High School junior does say he favors South Carolina because of its proximity to home.

The Palmetto-State gem will be one to watch in the coming weeks because he noted he should have a top by the end of his junior year.
