Pro-Am League: Robinson, Young Champions

In a summer full of high-scoring performances, Wednesday's championship game representative of the type of performances highlighted this summer.

Pittsburgh's James Robinson and Mike Young lift System One to the 2014 Pro-Am League title with a 115-109 win over Shale Attorney.

Rene Castro, in a losing effort, set a new Pro-Am record with 56 points, 32 of which came in the first half, as Shale Attorney built a 66-53 halftime lead.

Robinson had five of his 11 assists in the first half, assisting on six of teammate Young's nine field goals. Robinson finished with 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting. Young led the way with 26 points on 9-18 shooting, to go with 11 rebounds.

Micah Mason did what he does best--5-10 from three-point range, to go with 21 points. Marquese Reed also added 21 points--one of four System One players with 20 or more points.

Castro was impressive in the loss, as he was all summer, shooting 21-33 for his 56 points. Pitt's Aron Nwankwo added 22 points and seven rebounds in the loss. Recommended Stories
