Quick Hitter: 16' Hillcrest QB Collin Sneed

One of the most competitive quarterbacks we've seen in the 2016 class is Hillcrest's Collin Sneed. You might try and overlook him because he's not the tallest signal caller out there but he has the arm, skills, and moxie to play on the next level. ACC & SEC schools are the latest to contact Sneed. We've got the latest with Sneed in this FREE premium quick hitter courtesy of SCPrepNation.com!

Collin Sneed Profile

2016 Hillcrest quarterback Collin Sneed has seen his recruitment pick up after a strong sophomore season. Sneed has continued that momentum right into the off season having performed well during 7 on 7 events for his Rams squad. One of the state's top 2016 quarterbacks Sneed gave us a brief rundown of the very latest happenings regarding his recruitment in this FREE premium quick hitter here on SCPrepNation.com.

"Auburn invited me to a camp yesterday. And North Carolina State came to watch me at the Byrnes 7 on 7."

Sneed broke things down for us concerning both programs as to what they had to say.

"Auburn just emailed me yesterday and one of the coaches called my mom. He had her number from when we went down there for the 7 on 7 but she couldn't answer because we were at another 7 on 7 when he called! In the email they said that I looked good in my film from the 7 on 7 there and they hope to see me in the summer and fall."

"Coach Porter (Hillcrest head coach) is going to email the NC State coach since I can't talk to him and ask him what he thinks about me and stuff. He was just waiting until all the 7 on 7's were done."

As one of the state's toughest quarterbacks we've seen in quite some time he is almost a mirror image of his head coach Greg Porter who has helped to turn around the Hillcrest football program. We'll keep a close eye on Sneed as he's hoping to hear from more colleges during the course of the next two seasons and turn some of that interest into some scholarship offers as well.
